Cristina Guarda

Cristina Guarda is a Member of the European Parliament for the Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra (Green and Left Alliance) party. She represents Italian citizens in the European Parliament as part of the Greens/EFA group, working towards a sustainable, fair and inclusive Europe. Formerly a regional councillor for Veneto, she has worked tirelessly to promote ecological transition, defend the rights of local communities and combat PFAS contamination. Her expertise centres on protecting the environment and health from pollution and planning strategies for rural areas to prevent and manage the effects of the climate crisis. She is driven by a pragmatic and inclusive approach, bringing together her experience in the field as a farmer with a forward-looking institutional vision.
