“I spent years battling exhaustion, brain fog, and chronic pain. Doctors ignored it, colleagues didn't get it. Until I finally left corporate life and created a platform where women's pain is seen, measured, predicted, and finally believed.” This is what Alexandra Mont, founder of ENDOless, a high-tech start-up currently building a data engine to decode women's chronic pain to reshape their health through artificial intelligence and data, tells Renewable Matter.
Even though one in ten women suffer from endometriosis, it now takes around seven years to diagnose the disease. Founded last year, the Paris-based startup first focuses on developing an app and using the data to train artificial intelligence models to provide personalised insights, predictions of flare-ups, and symptom management. In a second phase, real user data from the app will be anonymised and sold to hospitals and healthcare providers to help them understand patients' needs and improve their treatment plans. The ultimate goal is the development and distribution of a scalable SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform for research institutes, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies, providing customised treatments and tools based on long-term studies and clinical trials.
To ensure accessibility, the app offers a freemium model, alongside one at a cost of 4.99 euros per month. Selected as one of the most impactful innovations at ChangeNOW 2025, the startup opened a seed round last May with the goal of raising 2 million euros. This will enable ENDOless to transform from a pilot project into a global platform capable of assisting 190 million women suffering from endometriosis and related diseases, while generating a rich dataset for researchers and doctors.
