There is an interesting conversation to be had on stakeholder engagement. It is now common in many processes that aspire to achieve a transformation of one kind or another to incorporate some aspect of engagement with those who will be impacted by the potential outcomes.  It often involves a lot of multi’s – multi level, multi lateral, multi stakeholder – and can become confusing and bureaucratic in its language.
