Bioenergy Integrated in the Bio-based Economy is Needed to Meet Climate Targets

In order to keep the increase of Earth’s temperature within 2 °C we should not release more than 1,000 billion tonnes of carbon. Since we have already reached 730, immediate and efficient solutions are needed. The sustainable use of biomasses is one of them.
